Note de contenu : Jean-Claude « Yann » Orveillon (1941-2011) a exercé de nombreux métiers. Il a travaillé successivement chez Dubigeon (Etablissement de Brest) de juillet à août 1958 ; chez Petrobankers de mars 1959 à décembre 1960 ; aux Laboratoires Bruneau de juillet 1965 à novembre 1968 ; à l’hôpital Ambroise-Paré de février 1969 à 1973 ; chez SELIO de janvier 1974 à mars 1979 [permanent de l’OCI]. Ensuite, il est devenu enseignant dans l'enseignement technique
Trotskyste lambertiste, Yann Orveillon milite dès les années 1960 au sein de l’AJS, des Comités d’alliance ouvrière, de l’OCI et ce jusqu’en 1984, date à laquelle il est exclu de l’organisation avec Stéphane Just. Il milite ensuite avec les exclus au sein de Combattre pour le socialisme.
Il fut également l’un des fondateurs du CERMTRI (centre d’études et de recherches sur les mouvements trotskyste et révolutionnaires internationaux).
Ce fonds nous a été confié par ses filles au printemps 2012. Outre ses archives militantes (ORV), ce fonds comprend une très forte bibliothèque (ORV-L) et des collections de périodiques (ORV-P).
